One of the articles making it to the GovConChannel this week reported the results of a survey by American Express OPEN for Government Contracting. The survey found small businesses spending 72% more on federal contract pursuits in FY2015 than they did in FY2013. The average spend, based on a blend of time and money according to the survey results, amounted to $148,124.
Needless to say, that’s a significant jump in outbound effort and dollars. I wonder what the resulting ROI was for that massive increase in spending?
