This summary presentation facilitated by Guy Timberlake of The American Small Business Coalition provides a background on the use of Simplified Acquisition Procedures by sixty (60) different civilian, defense and intelligence agencies and key aspects of these purchases that vendors need to know to assess the opportunities that exist for their companies and their offerings.

FACT #2: Since FY2009, Simplified Acquisition spending has experienced a one billion dollar average increase in fiscal spending each year even as government-wide federal contract spending has declined. This is the only procurement method boasting sustained growth of this amount for this period of time.
