Defense BIDs™ Brief: Bringin’ on DHITS!

DHA HITS – Generation 1 –
Quicker Evaluation and Award of Products/Services/Solutions for DHA Health IT

BIDs logoThe Defense Health Agency (formerly the Tricare Management Activity or TMA) is planning for a new Podcast logoprocurement vehicle to support the acquisition of, well, pretty much anything and everything they could need in the way of products, services and solutions to support DHA Health IT.  In fact, according to the DHA HITS Milestone Chart, they are slated to issue a combined solicitation and RFP in October 2015. Is your company ready for this opportunity?

This Defense BIDs™ Brief is prelude to a discussion we’ll host at the March 20th Defense BIDs™ meeting in Reston, VA.

What is the BIDs™ Working Group?

A facilitated information-gathering and sharing opportunity to foster situational awareness and relationships in support of the identification, pursuit and capture of government contracts and subcontracts.

What will be discussed during the March 2015 Defense BIDs™ meeting?

This month’s Defense BIDs™ meeting will feature a discussion by Sara Byrd of tiag (The Informatics Applications group) regarding the history, purpose, status and opportunity related to the proposed $20 billion dollar multiple award IDIQ being called DHITS.
