Simplified Acquisition Snapshot™ for week of February 4, 2013: Oklahoma – The American Small Business Coalition

When we pulled the YTD data for FY13 spending where The Sooner State was the place of performance, we found that twenty-one (21) federal agencies, boards and commissions combined to spend $27 million dollars on goods and services purchases using the simplified acquisition procedures.

Guy Timberlake‘s insight:

In reviewing the numbers for Oklahoma, we found the number of competed buys to be very high, but the level of competition low, averaging just 1.77 bids received YTD.
